You don't carry a bag like this one by chance. At 1971, I wanted a carry-all as honest and durable as the garments that go with it.

Waxed canvas is an old story. Before it dressed bags, it protected sailors' sails, coated with wax to defy the rain and the salt of the sea. Sailors took hold of it, for its strength, its water resistance, and that unique way it has of ageing well and lasting.

Because it's a living material. It evolves over time, takes its marks, gains a patina, and little by little tells a story that belongs to you alone. After a year or two, the choice is yours: reapply the wax to bring back its shine, or let it dry for that beautiful vintage, authentic look. Either way, it only gets better.

Don't worry about the little droplet marks that may appear in damp weather, that's the nature of the material. Thirty seconds with a hairdryer and they're gone.

Handmade, finished with thick leather and supple handles blending leather and canvas, it's the kind of bag that doesn't wear out: it improves.
