Repaired Jeans 1971

The RICHY jeans - Inner finishes

Does anyone still design jeans so they can be repaired one day? Apart from us, that is.

They could well be the only item of clothing made even more handsome by repairs.

Since the crotch of a pair of jeans is very curved, it’s the trickiest part to mend.

We’ve all been there: you have the front crotch of your jeans repaired, but afterwards you realise they’re just not quite as comfortable.

That’s why we decided to add a cotton lining to reinforce this area and make it easy to alter.

Your favourite seamstress won’t have the slightest problem fixing them, if need be – that’s what they’re made for!

We quite like the idea of a pair of jeans "for life" that wear in their own unique way over time.

So you might as well give them a long and happy life, don’t you think?
